Since starting in this field 4 years ago, I continue to find AI to be a challenging, rewarding and an exciting journey for me.
I remember when I first started in the AI field on Decision Support Systems (DSS), I found its application and impact to be fascinating!
Intrigued by how computers augmented human heuristic decision-making, I wanted to understand how they work.
I have opportunities to attend trade seminars such as IBM Think 2018 and STACK 2020, to keep myself abreast of the evolving AI trends.
Fast forward to today, as I grow more conversant on the AI technology and applying the principles behind it, I become more interested in the complexity of security and governance eco-systems; how they are required to ensure AI systems are kept secure and meaningfully available for collaboration.
There is a need to grow from here on, to see that AI can operationalise across the eco-system of systems, which includes scaling beyond algorithms and stand-alone use cases.
Some of the curious questions that keep me going:
- What is the impact that AI plays in the digital age?
- What is the key challenge to adoption of AI?
- What is the future direction of AI?
Let’s explore these questions together in the 60 seconds video below:
