Fast, highly manoeuvrable, good seakeeping and long endurance, the Vanguard 75 is a highly versatile vessel purpose-designed for prolonged operations at sea, such as humanitarian and disaster relief missions, coastal security and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) patrolling. The hull form, which was developed in collaboration with a world-renowned model test centre, has enhanced features that enable the vessel to comfortably operate up to Sea State 6 and survive Sea State 9. The topside of Vanguard 75 is further designed with reduced radar cross section and infra-red signature for enhanced survivability. A fleet of Vanguard 75 is already in operation to patrol and protect the waters in the Persian Gulf. It is the newest and smallest member in its class.
Our Vanguard class of vessels embraces the design philosophy of “one design, multiple classes and modular capabilities”. The common platform and layout enable scalability and flexible equipping for different missions and payloads. The modularity of design greatly reduces development cost as well as downstream fleet management and lifecycle costs, including inventory and maintenance costs, across multiple ship classes.
